This regulation may be modified by the restrictions arising from the pandemic situation. In the event that this regulation (or other information on the website) comes into contradiction with the exceptional measures of the moment, the restrictions set by these exceptional measures will prevail.

Article 1.
The official departure of the VII EDITION ALP-CERDANYA CYCLE TOUR will be on Sunday 24 July 2022 from the Palacio de Congresos y Deportes de Alp. It has three tours. Endurance Tour (182 km), Medial Tour (141 Km) and Sport Tour (86 Km), all of them will finish in the same point, at the departure’s point of that village. The last arrival time will be at 5:00 p.m. It is open to any cyclist older than 18 years old.

Article 2.

Alp Cerdanya Cycle Tour is a non-competitive bike ride regulated in article 9 of the Regulation de Cicloturismo-Ciclismo for all from the RFEC Within the framework of a cycle specialty that conceives this sport as a physical exercise for leisure and tourism or cultural purposes, excluding competition. The three routes are under the dispositions of articles 15 and following from the Anexo II del Real Decreto 1428/2003, 21st of November, by which approves the General Regulation of Circulation, approved by the Real Decreto Legislativo 339/1990, 2nd of March.

Article 3.
The inscription fees are as follow:

€ 50 from 0 to 100 registered
€ 55 from 100 to 400 registered
€ 60 from 400 to 600 registered
€ 65 from 600 to 1,000 registered

  • Last day of registration: July 17, 2022
  • The non-federate cyclists by the RFEC will pay 7€ apart from the inscription fee in order to contract a one-day insurance.
  • The registered cyclists as federates by the RFEC will have to present their current license when collecting the bib number. If not being able to present the current license in that moment, it will be compulsory to pay 7€ as per the pursue of a one-day insurance.

Article 4.
In order to participate it is compulsory to be federate at the Real Federación Española de Ciclismo (RFEC) or at the Federación Catalana de Ciclismo (FCC) or by any federation affiliated with the UCI, or to hold a one-day insurance delivered by the organization. These are the only valid insurances accepted by authorities. The participation in the race is under your responsibility and under the participant’s own risk. The participant, when subscribing the inscription, claims to be in due fit for the race.

Article 5.
Only payed inscriptions will be valid, meaning that there is no possibility to do a pre-registration and to pay while picking your bib number. The payment is only possible through the Internet with credit card via the secure payment gateway proposed by the organization.

Article 6.
The inscriptions are considered definitive therefore in the case that the participation is not possible any refund will be made. The inscriptions are strictly personal and non-transferable; they cannot be used by any other person different from the one inscribed. It is not possible to exchange participants.

Article 7.
The time control will be monitored electronically by a transponder. It is compulsory to use the transponder that is attached to the plaque number. The plaque must be situated in the bicycle handlebar. The transponder does not work if it is in direct contact with the bicycle, or if placed elsewhere.

The time control system has proven to perfectly work; therefore, the no classification will be automatically registered when participants fail to go through the check-points in the entire route: on-time departure, arrival and other check-points placed along the routes.

Article 8.
System of elimination:

Eliminatory Check-points will be situated along the route. The participant that will overpass this time lapses will have obligatory to leave the race, using the broom wagon or otherwise, once excluded from the race, it will be their responsibility to became a regular user of public roads, without any assistance from the organization, in case the cyclist will decide to continue in route by bike.

Article 9.
To receive the bib numbers you have to go to Palacio de Congresos y Deportes de Alp, on Saturday 23th of July from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Sunday, 24th of July, the organization will exclusively deliver from 6:30 a.m. to 7.30 a.m. those bib numbers specific requested to the organization. Riders shall ensure that their plaque numbers are clearly legible and visible. Those cyclists not bearing legible and visible the plaque numbers will be excluded from the race by organization members or forces of order. The transponder and the plaque are personal and non-transferable items. The participant can only participate with the bib number assigned and accepts not to permit the use of it by any other person. The assistant team will not attend any cyclist not correctly registered, so the basic criteria to assist are the bib number.

Article 10.
All participants that would be seen towed by any vehicle will be sanctioned by the organization.

Support vehicles are forbidden as per the traffic regulations: the forces of order will stop the support vehicles, who will be responsible for non-following the traffic rules if so.

Article 11.

The organization establishes solid and liquid refreshment points during the route and at the arrival.

Article 12.
The organization will have, during the cycling tour and all through the race, 2 ambulances and broom wagon.

Article 13.
The organization will provide mechanical assistance. It is recommended to carry a minimum quantity of tools so the rider can be self-sufficient if needed. The mechanic assistance service will not attend to anyone cyclist who is not registered in the Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour.

Article 14.


  • It is compulsory to wear an approved helmet.
  • For security reasons, it is only possible to participate with conventional cycling bicycles with brakes in both wheels.
  • It is not permitted to ride with “fixies”, TT bikes, triathlon bikes, e-bikes and mountain bikes.Triathlon handlebars are prohibited.

Article 15.
Head of Traffic from Mossos d’Esquadra and Local Police shall ensure the security of the race.

Article 16.
All riders have to strictly observe the provisions of current legislation (Ley de la Seguridad Vial y su Reglamento). The race rides at traffic open roads. Participants who do not comply with traffic regulations will be sanctioned (see Art. 22). The rider assumes all risks due to the participation in an open traffic race, and excludes the organization of the race from any responsibility, incident or accident resulting from the participation on the Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour.

Article 17.
The Organization is not responsible for any accident that could be the cause or victim of the participant, who must be covered by the insurance of the license, nor is it jointly responsible for the expenses or debts that could be incurred by participants during the race, nor of the losses or damages that could suffer the bicycles or other equipment of the participants. The participant exempts the organization from liability for loss or deterioration of personal objects by any circumstance. The organization will not be responsible for the valuables left by the bicycle as well as the accessories of the same in the bicycle parking of the Alp Sports Center.

Article 18.
To collect the bib number it is obligatory to present the passport and the license of the RFEC, FCC or any federation affiliated to the UCI in the event that the insurance proposed by the organization has not been subscribed. To collect the bib number for third persons, it is available the document of “authorization to remove a rider to third parties”. (more info / documents) In case of not presenting the license, must be paid the day insurance.

Article 19.
The Organization reserves the right to make the necessary modifications, if for any reason it deems necessary. And also the organization reserves the Right of Admission.

Article 20.

Image rights. The acceptance of the present regulation obligatorily implies that the participant authorizes the organizers of La Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour Cycle Tour to the total or partial recording of its participation in the same, gives its agreement so that it can use its image for the promotion and dissemination of the image of La Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour Cycle Tour in all its forms (radio, press, video, photo, DVD, Internet, posters, media, etc.) and recognizes the organizer as the sole owner of all the rights related to its commercial and advertising exploitation that it considers, without the right to receive any financial compensation.

Article 21.
The fact of enrolling in this race means acceptance of these regulations and the waiver of all rights against the organization, waiving any legal action that might arise from their participation in the race.

Article 22.
Strictly, the participants will be penalized if:

  • Do not respect the traffic code.
  • Do not respect the safety instructions indicated by law enforcement and the organization.
  • Do not pass through the exit control and by others checking points located on the route.
  • Mess or degrade the itinerary, throwing away waste.
  • Have a support vehicle of their own, hindering the progress of the rest.
  • Behaviours that prevent the normal development of the race and that go against this regulation.
  • They are located in places of exit not allowed by their number.

The authorities and members of the organization will take note of the participants who adopt the behaviours indicated above. Likewise, the organization acquires the commitment, face to the rest of the participants and the authorities, to sanction them effectively.

The penalty will be:

  • Disqualification of the test, without the right to diploma or medal.
  • Inclusion in the lists of sanctioned participants, for subsequent publication.
  • Prohibition to participate in other editions of the test.
  • The sanctions imposed by the authorities, which by virtue of their attitude could become deserving.

Article 23.
The organization shall designate a group of volunteers  whose function shall be to ensure the security of the race. They will carry equipment that will identify them at all times. Such collaborators shall have the authority to communicate to the organization the commission, by any participant, of the conduct described in article 22, these communications having the same value as the denunciations made by the organization itself.

Article 24.
The organization will not assume any responsibility if the event is suspended or deferred due to force majeure.
The cancellation or suspension of the event due to force majeure does not imply the refund of the registration fees.

Article 25.
Gifts for participants will not be delivered.

Article 26. 
It is mandatory to choose the route at the time of making the registration and it will be binding, the bib colour you receive with the cycler’s bag will be identifying the route that you have selected, and therefore, you will not be able to make another route different from the colour of your bib number.

Article 27.
The CLUB CICLISTA ALP – LA MOLINA guarantees full compliance with the Personal Data Protection regulations, and thus, in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, the signatory is informed and consents to the incorporation of his data to the automated files existing in the Club and the treatment of them for use in relation to the development of administrative, commercial and other activities of the same. The privacy policy of CLUB CICLISTA ALP – LA MOLINA ensures, in any case, the exercise of the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, in the terms established in the current legislation, by writing to CLUB CICLISTA ALP – LA MOLINA C / Font Moreu 4, 17537 La Molina (Alp), being responsible for the file CLUB CICLISTA ALP – LA MOLINA with domicile for these purposes at the above address.

The participant accepts that their data can be transferred exclusively to collaborating companies and sponsors necessary for the correct development of the activities, management and internal administration of CLUB CICLISTA ALP – LA MOLINA. Likewise, the signatory agrees that the CLUB CICLISTA ALP – LA MOLINA sends or directs information on any products, managements or services that they commercialize. The acceptance of the signatory so that his data can be treated or transferred in the manner established in this paragraph, is always revocable, without retroactive effect, in accordance with the provisions of articles 6 and 11 of Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December.
